Abstract : Rina Dwi Mulyani NIM 20143407046 "Improving Social Studies Learning Outcomes Through the Inside Outside Circle Learning Model in Class V Students of Kaliabang Tengah I Elementary School Bekasi" Bekasi Thesis PGSD / PGMI Study Program STAI BANI SALEH 2018.
This research was conducted at Bekasi Kaliabang Tengah I Elementary School, the method used in this study was the Classroom Action Research Method (CAR) using the Inside Outside Circle learning model. The number of students studied was 45 students with 24 boys and 21 girls.
This research is motivated by the problem of the low social studies learning outcomes in fifth grade students of Kaliabang Tengah I Elementary School Bekasi, because students are still having difficulty understanding the material diversity of natural and artificial appearance and the division of time in Indonesia. Therefore, the teacher seeks to improve social studies learning outcomes through the Inside Outside Circle learning model that is favored by students and makes students more active in the social studies learning process.
The study was conducted in two cycles, one cycle carried out four times the research action. With the stipulation criteria> 75%. The results obtained from each cycle were pre-research which resulted in 46.7%, cycle I 68.6%, cycle II 98.9%. Thus, this study is said to have succeeded in cycle II.
Thus, the researcher concludes that the use of Inside Outside Circle learning model is very useful for improving social studies learning outcomes in fifth grade students of Kaliabang Tengah I Elementary School Bekasi. Then, the use of the Inside Outside Circle learning model can be used and referenced as one of the social studies learning models that can be used by social studies teachers in elementary schools.
